Understanding your model
Models of OKI printers can start with either one or two letters (this is what they mean):
B: Monochrome (only prints in black)
C: Colour
ES: Executive Series
MB: Multifunction Mono
MC: Multifunction Colour
ML: Microline (dotmatrix)
OF: OKIFAX
Ribbons
All dot matrix printers use either small or large ribbon cartridges, see below:

Dot matrix printers use a print head that runs in a back and forth motion and prints on impact, striking an ink-soaked ribbon cartridge against the paper.
